Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell has been a chef, television presenter in the US and an instructor at Institute of Culinary Education. She hosts The Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef and her distinctive hairstyle and her pumped up personality, provides the basics of cooking that any person can master. Chef Burrell was employed at New York at top restaurants and studied the Italian culinary practices and the landscape. Also, she was a contestant on Iron Chef America on Food Network. Early on, while living in the New York's Upstate region, Burrell became passionate about food and cooking. The Culinary Institute of America is where she enrolled after earning an English degree as well as a communications diploma from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was an unforgettable experience for me. I couldn't learn enough couldn't accomplish enough, and I couldn't put in the effort enough. Following her graduation, Chef Burrell spent a year in Italy studying at Italy's Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and working in La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria as well as La Bottega del 30 a one-Michelin star restaurant in Tuscany. During her time in Italy she grew to truly comprehend and appreciate the philosophies behind Italian culinary and cultural traditions that has had a profound impact in her viewpoint. Burrell serves on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that helps brighten the lives of children who are struggling. Burrell is also a Juvenile diabetes Research Foundation Celebrity Advocate where she raises awareness about young diabetics. In her capacity as an inspirational speaker, she is on the road to share her passion for food as well as her career in the culinary field.
