Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols was the daughter of Alison Nichols and James Nichols. She was born in Augusta Maine. She is of French Canadian and English descent. She graduated from Cony High School in Augusta which was where she was a high jumper. Columbia University in New York City was where she graduated with the double degree of math and economics. Then she began modeling, beginning an impressive career as a model working with a number of prestigious companies, including Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch and L'Oreal. Rachel was inspired to try acting, and was offered a role on the HBO drama Sex and the City (1998). This was her first audition. Her film debut was as Jessica Matthews in Dumb and Dumberer: How Harry Met Lloyd (2003). Her film career continued to be successful with the roles she played in projects like The Amityville Horror (2004), The Inside (2006), Alias (2002), and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra 2009, Criminal Minds 2005 (a regular character as FBI Agent Ashley Seaver), and Conan the Barbarian 2011 Columbia University, where she graduated with a double degree in math and economics, was her lead part as Kiera Cameron (police officer) on the science fiction series Continuum (2012). Modeled for Guess? and Abercrombie & Fitch as well as L'Oreal, Nicole Miller, and L'Oreal. She was the restaurant hostess in Sex and the City, the first part for which she auditioned. Her father is English as well as French-Canadian descent. Her maternal grandfather was three-quarters Italian and one-quarter German and her maternal grandmother was of English and Scottish heritage. Both Nichols together with Star Trek (2009) star Zoe Saldana, went on to work for Stephen Lang. Saldana with Lang in Avatar 2009; Nichols with Lang Conan the Barbarian 2011. On December 30 2013, she got engaged to real estate developer Michael Kershaw. She is a natural blonde.
