Dawson (born May 9, 1979)[3] is an American actor and producer. Her feature
film debut was in the 1995 film, an independent drama Kids. Her later film
roles include He Got Game (1998), Josie and the Pussycats (2001), Men in Black
II (2002), Rent (2005), Sin City (2005), Clerks II (2006), Death Proof (2007),
Seven Pounds (2008), Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief
(2010), Unstoppable (2010), Zookeeper (2011), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014)
and Zombieland: Double Tap (2019). Dawson has also provided voice-over work for
Disney/Marvel, Warner Bros./DC Comics and ViacomCBS's Nickelodeon unit.For her
performance in Rent, Dawson won the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress
in a Motion Picture; for her part in Top Five, she was nominated for the
Critics' Choice Movie Award for the Best actress in a comedy. Dawson was born
on May 9, 1979 in New York City. Isabel Celeste, her mother is Afro-Cuban.
Rosario was 16 at the time Isabel was born. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, never
married Patrick C. Harris. Rosario's mom, Greg Dawson, was a construction
worker when she was only one year old. Dawson is four years older than Clay.
Clay is Dawson’s half-brother. Dawson is also famous for her roles in
comic-book adaptations. She was the voice of Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian's
second season, which will air in 2020. She will appear in the Disney+ original
series Ahsoka. Also, she has a regular part in the Dwayne Johnson
autobiographical comedy series Young Rock in 2021.
